Rachael K. Campbell was born February 29, 1996 in Palos Heights, Illinois. She was the beloved daughter of Donald M. (Angel) Campbell, Jr. and Susan Butler; cherished sister of Sergeant Zachary A. (Stacy) Campbell, USMC and the late Susan R. Campbell; and loving granddaughter of the late Donald M. (late Patricia A.) Campbell, Sr. and Alan (Elizabeth) Hackstock and Great Granddaughter of Afra Hackstock; loving sister of Zach, Erick, Joey, and Ana, fond niece of Ashley Hackstock.  Rachael is also survived by many other loving relatives.

Rachael was always a free spirit who danced to the beat of her own drummer.  She loved all creatures, peace and harmony.  She reveled in tie dye colors and music that touched her inner spirit. She was a friend and inspiration to many.  Simply put, she loved cool people and the feeling that exists when connections are made.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Rachael’s life by joining together for her Visitation on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Maher Funeral Home, 17101 71stAve, Tinley Park, IL from 3:00-8:00 pm with a Eulogy Service at 7:00 pm.

I was so fortunate to know Rachael while she was a student at Oak Forest High School and will never forget her. Rachael will be remembered for her resilience, her spirit, her fun sense of humor and always trying to persevere despite obstacles in her life. May you rest in peace now Rachael and you will never be forgotten.
