Alex V. Alvarez

Alexander Vance Alvarez, a lifelong resident of Warrenville, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on October 19th, 2022, at the age of 27.

Alex was born December 16th, 1994, to Jose and Linda Alvarez. With his quick wit, dimples, and heartwarming smile, he was always sure to brighten a room. He enjoyed skateboarding, basketball, wrestling, MMA, and spending time with family. He also enjoyed a variety of music which served as a therapeutic outlet for him. His keen attention to detail and impeccable memory assured anyone could count on him to remember birthdays and anniversaries. He was a wonderful caretaker for his mother, cherished grandson, son, brother, devoted uncle, and true friend to all.

Alex is survived by his parents, Jose and Linda Alvarez of Warrenville, IL; sister, Melynda (Charlie) Mays of Plainfield, IL; brothers, Eric (Candice) Alvarez of Aurora, IL, Anthony (Isabella) Alvarez of North Aurora, IL, and Keith Gubala of Darien, IL; grandmothers, Gertrude Kammermann of Willisville, IL, and Delphina Alvarez of Chachapa, Puebla (Mexico); a special niece, whom he thought of as a sister, Kaylee; nephews, Rylan, Austin, and soon-to-be Brody; nieces, Anabella and Ella; as well as many aunts and uncles.

He is preceded in death by grandfathers, James Mays, John Kammermann, and Francisco Alvarez; and the love of his life, Danielle Marie Clark.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Wednesday, October 26th, 2022. Visitation will take place at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home located at 516 S. Washington Street, Naperville, IL, from 3:00-7:00 pm with a service at 7:00 pm.  Casual dress.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alex's parents.  In Alex's memory, the donations will be given to a charity that influenced his life and was close to his heart.
