Alice F. Branon, 81, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025, at home in West Chicago, Illinois. She was born April 14, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois, to Theodore and Agatha (nee Reagan) Bednarz.
Alice enjoyed reading, traveling, going to the casino, and spending time with her family. She was truly a caregiver and put her family above all. She found peace in the comfort of her own home and appreciated the beauty of everyday life.
Alice is survived by her children Linda (Matt) McCarthy and Jason Branon; her grandchildren Shannon (Tim) Foley and Colin (Erin) McCarthy; her great grandchildren Madison and Dean Foley; and her sister Helen (the late Edward) Hack.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband William “Bill” Branon, Jr.; her son David Branon; and her siblings Virginia (Edwin) Kusek, Frank (Matilda) Bednarz, Bernice (Eugene) Lash, Angeline Rutowicz, Antoinette Gill, Richard (Diana) Bednarz, and Christine (Greg, living) Zurek.
Visitation Monday, March 17, 2025, from 3 pm until 8 pm, at Bucaro Funeral Home, 485 W. Army Trail Road, Bloomingdale, Illinois. Prayers Tuesday, March 18, at 10 am, at the funeral home, proceeding to Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 1415 Lies Road W, Carol Stream, for 10:30 am Funeral Mass. Committal prayers to follow at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton.
