Blanche (Hodina) Pech

Blanche Pech, nee Hodina, age 90, was born in Berwyn, IL on August 30, 1925.  Blanche was also raised in Berwyn by her parents, then went on to raise her family in Berwyn also, becoming a life long resident.  She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph; devoted mother of Mark; cherished grandmother of Abbey and Devean; and dear sister of the late Edward Hodina.

Blanche passed away peacefully, at home, with her son Mark.  Blanche's family acknowledges with great appreciation the dedicated, loving attention that her caregiver, Paula, gave for a year, taking care of Blanche with great affection and compassion.  Blanche's family also acknowledges the concern, guidance and aid provided by Vitas Hospice.  It helped Blanche, Mark and the family so much during the last weeks.

Blanche will be laid to rest in Bohemian National Cemetery, 5255 N. Pulaski Rd., Chicago, on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11:00 am.
