Carol Ann Cabaniss

Carol Cabaniss came into this world to Pauline and William Cabaniss in San Francisco on September 14, 1956 and lived her life to the fullest on her terms ever since.  She grew up and lived the majority of her life in Lisle, IL, where she raised her family while working hard and playing often.  She was always known as a protector, the most tender of hearts who would always do anything for anybody, and someone who could always spin a great story for a laugh!

She left us in the early morning on August 12, 2019, surrounded by her loved ones, who will forever have a piece missing from their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Hargrove; her daughter, Lana Hargrove; her sister Ellen Gandolfo; and her father, William Cabaniss.  She leaves behind her mother, Pauline Cabaniss; her children Michaele Hargrove (Marcos Zuniga), Paul Hargrove (Dominique) and Marissa Hargrove; and her sisters Judy (Chris) Roman, Nancy (Steve) Schrock and Linda (Peggy) Cabaniss.  “Queenie” will be greatly missed by her grandkids Cameron, Anthony, Dominic and Milla.

There will be a gathering for a Celebration of Carol’s Life on Sunday, September 29th, 2019 from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the  Farmingdale North Condominiums Clubhouse; 7390 Grand Avenue, Downers Grove, IL 60516.
