Catherine Wanders

Cathy was born on January 27, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois.  She spent most of her life as a resident of Addison.  She was a profound animal lover, which was made evident by years as an Afghan Professional Dog Handler and local rescuer of kittens.

Cathy was employed as a bookkeeper for many years by Best Service Screw Corporation of Addison, Illinois and for 12 years at Glendale Animal Hospital in Glendale Heights, Illinois.

She will be remembered at a Memorial Service on Saturday March 3, 2018 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1213 W. Army Trail Blvd., Addison, Illinois at 11:00 am with luncheon to follow on site.

Private interment will be held at a later date at Elm Lawn Memorial Park,Elmhurst, IL.
