Debra L. Rehling

It saddens us to announce the passing of Debra L. Rehling on September 19, 2019
Debra came into this world to Ruth and Alfred Rehling in Chicago, Illinois on July 29, 1953. She grew up and lived the majority of her life in Chicago, IL, before moving to the western suburbs. She was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Ruth, She will be greatly missed by her brother Roger and sister in-law April and the many relatives, cherished friends and treasured students.

Debra truly added music to our world using her artistic gifts by being an assistant organist at Peace Memorial Church and helping for many years with the children’s choir. She was a dedicated professor at Ortigara's Musicville, Inc. Chicago Ridge, Il. teaching  piano and organ lessons for over 45 years. Her passions were people, music and animals.

Family and Friends may gather for Visitation at Peace Memorial Church, 10300 West 131st St. Palos Park, IL on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 4:00pm-8:00pm.  On Friday September 27, 2019 gathering will begin at 10:00 am at the church with a Funeral Service starting at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL.  Resting next to her beloved mother Ruth. But for all of those who had the pleasure of knowing her she will forever be in our hearts.
