Don Yarroll

Don Yarroll, age 81, beloved husband of Chris, nee Brandes, devoted father of Charisse O'Fallon (fiance John DiMeo); Denver Yarroll, and Monte (Eve) Yarroll; cherished grandfather of Andy, Glen, Jeff, and James O'Fallon and Adelbert, Skyler, Madeleine, Naomi, and Arlo Yarroll; dear brother of Marjory (late Leon) Nierman, Helen Bodel, Bill Yarroll, Kathy McIntyre, and the late Lyn Yarroll; fond uncle of many.

Don and his family served as missionaries in New Guinea from 1960-1972.  Throughout his life, Don was an artist in many disciplines, including jewelry, painting, and metal technologies such as 3D sculptures and welding. 

He also enjoyed his role as a teacher. Don taught art and english as a second language both in New Guinea and the United States. Don also taught behaviorally disordered children.  He was also an interpreter for the deaf, offering sign language at churches. 

Visitation will be held Friday, September 9, 2016, from 3:00-8:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1101 Kimberly Way (on Rt. 53 between Maple Ave and Hobson Rd), Lisle, Illinois. Family and friends may gather at the church Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. 

In loving memory of Don, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
