Donna Lee (Peterson) Hemmerle

Donna Lee Hemmerle (formerly Lenardi), 65, of Schaumburg, IL, passed away on Tuesday March 19, 2024. She was born on October 26, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois to Lester and Paula (Schlecht) Peterson.  She is survived by her loving husband, Mark Hemmerle, one child, Michelle (Ken) Gulino, two brothers, Phil (Julie) Peterson, Carl (Pat) Peterson, her sister Kathie (Ray) Kielminski, her father-in-law Irv Hemmerle and her sister-in-law Mary Beth Hacker. Her granddaughter, Gianna, was the light of her life. She was a special aunt and friend to many.

Donna lived her life for her family and her family included her beloved Shih Tzu, Bailey. She worked hard all of her life and she loved to spend her free time having fun with her family and friends. She would do anything for anyone. She loved to be outside, she loved the beach and she loved walking and rollerblading. She loved listening to country music with the wind blowing through her hair while riding on the back of the motorcycle with Mark.

A visitation will be held from 3pm to 8pm Friday, March 22, 2024 at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 516 S. Washington Street, Naperville, IL 60540 with Celebration of Life at 7pm.
