Dr. David M. Resk

Dr. David Michael Resk, age 78, of Naperville and formerly of Elm Grove, Wisconsin passed away on March 5, 2018. David was the loving father of David Jr. (Teresa Rierson), Kevin, and Rachael Resk; cherished grandfather of David III, and Sophia Resk; dear brother of Bob, Tom, and Joan Resk; beloved companion of 40 years, Rogene Gall.

Dave was raised in the Beverly neighborhood of Chicago and attended St. Leo Catholic High School. He went on to graduate from the University of Illinois with a Doctorate of Medicine. He then served in the United States Air Force as a Doctor with the final rank of Major. David settled in Wisconsin to practice medicine where he met his longtime girlfriend, Rogene. They eventually settled in Elm Grove, Wisconsin and he became the Head of Pathology at St. Francis Hospital.

Dave had many interests in life. He enjoyed nature, hiking, reading, teaching, and playing chess. As a past Mensa member, he was a lover of learning.

He will be dearly missed by Rogene, his children, grandchildren and siblings.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2018 from 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm at Beidelman-Kusnch Funeral Home, 516 S. Washington St., Naperville, IL 60540.
