Edris Keasler

Edris Anna Keasler, 90 yrs. old, of Lanark, Illinois, passed away on June 9, 2014.
Edris was born in Cicero, IL on June 6, 1924. She attended Riverside-Brookfield High School.
Edris was married to Ralph B. Keasler on September 27th, 1952; they were married 19 years.
Edris worked for Western Electric and Motorola, as an in-home caregiver, and for the Lisle Public Library throughout her life. She enjoyed playing piano, singing, and baking. She was also actively involved in church.
Edris is lovingly remembered by daughters, Darlene (Thomas) Dennis and Mellody (Richard) Krieger, 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, and close friend Harriet Swick.
Edris is preceded in death by (father) Everett E. Allen, (stepdad and mother) Richard and Anna Moore, (Uncle and Aunt) Eric and Esther Anderson, and (grandchild) Thomas F. Dennis.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, June 16th, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Downers Grove, 929 Maple Ave., Downers Grove, IL 60515. Pastor Donald Zimmerman of First Baptist Church of Downers Grove will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 10:50 am at First Baptist Church of Downers Grove. Burial will follow the funeral at Clarendon Hills Cemetery at 12:00 pm. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Mr. Chuck Goff of New Tradition Funerals and Cremations.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to First Baptist Church of Downers Grove, 929 Maple. Ave, Downers Grove, IL 60515. The Krieger and Nemec families wish to thank Pastor Don Zimmerman, and the staff at First Baptist Church of Downers Grove.
