Edward A. Ryan

Edward A. Ryan, age 79, was born December 23, 1939 in Berwyn, Illinois, the only child of Algot and Margaret, nee Stanick, Ryan.  Ed passed away suddenly on October 20, 2019 in Naperville, Illinois.    
  Ed married Gail D. Norman on March 23, 1969 at Faith Lutheran Church in Cicero, Illinois, and they enjoyed over 50 wonderful years of marriage.  
  He was the loving father of Andy Ryan and Rachel (Kenny) Andrews and cherished grandfather of Colton, Owen and Grace Andrews.
  Ed began working for Argonne National Laboratory when he was 21 years old and must have loved it, because he worked there for 58 years later.  Ed was a well known and loyal member of the Argonne community.
  He enjoyed stamp collecting, listening to classical musical and sampling chocolates.  
  Family and friends are invited to join for a Memorial Service on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 10:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1101 Kimberly Way, (on Rt. 53) Lisle, Illinois.  Refreshments will follow at the church.  
  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
