Eileen Woodward Obituary

Eileen Wheeler Woodward passed away suddenly at home on January 17, 2022, at the age of 90.

Eileen was born to Wilbur and Ellen (nee Donavin) Wheeler in 1931. A lifelong resident of West Chicago, Eileen graduated from West Chicago High School in 1949. She worked alongside her husband of 65 years, the late Paul Woodward, in the Woodward Funeral Home for 24 years, before both retiring in 1990. Eileen was active in and enjoyed the fellowship of her church, the First United Methodist Church of West Chicago.

Eileen is preceded in death by her parents Wilbur and Ellen Wheeler; husband Paul; brothers Wilbur "William", Richard, and Marvin; and sisters Marjorie LeKander and Katherine Caldwell.

Eileen's life was celebrated by her friends, nieces, and nephews whom mourn her passing but are blessed with wonderful memories of the times they shared with Eileen.

Honoring Eileen's wishes, there will not be a service.
