Eileen Zempich

Eileen Zempich, age 73, was born April 23, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Harry and Jean, nee Pasquinelli, Betti.   Eileen met Charlie Zempich and the two married in December 1967.  They went on to raise their family in the Heart of Italy neighborhood of Chicago.  She was the loving mother of Chuckie (Angela ) Zempich and Tina (late Rich) Flamm.  Eileen also had a "second son" Danny (Joni Rayas) Raschke who she was especially close to.  She was the cherished grandmother of Amanda Byrd (Steve), Christina Flamm, Josh (Amanda) Flamm, Kari Raschke (Rolando); proud great grandmother of Jeremiah and Robert; dear sister of Carl (Carol) Betti and Albert (Arlene) Betti and the late Allen (late Mickey) Betti; fond aunt and cousin of many.

Eileen worked as a travel agent, but preferred to stay in a four block radius of her house.  It was the neighbood her family settled in over 100 years ago.  She loved her Italian heritage,  her neighborhood, her family and Elvis.  

Eileen's family will gather Saturday, February 13, 2021 to honor her at a private visitation and ceremony.
