Elizabeth S. “Liz” Dominguez, nee Garcia, age 48, was born July 3, 1971 in Chicago, the daughter of Cesar and Irene, nee Malinowski, Garcia. Liz was raised in Lombard, Illinois and graduated Glenbard East High School.
Liz was the beloved wife of the late Fidel, whom she married in 1994 in a lovely garden ceremony in Lombard. Fidel passed away in 2003.
She was the loving mother of Fidel Dominguez Jr., Desiree Dominguez and Paul Comitz Jr.; cherished granddaughter of Sabina (Late Jerzy) Malinowski; dear sister of Tanya (Glen) Michiels, Paul (Julie) Garcia-Nelson, Alex (Mary-Kate) Garcia and Christina (William) Cook; fond aunt of Crystal, Jacob, Jonathan, Brooklyn and Graclyn; great-aunt of Kenzie and Steve Jr. “SJ”; dear niece of John (Mary Ann) Malinowski.
Liz happily replied to the nickname “Sugar” which her father gave her. As often as possible, music by Elvis Presley would be playing wherever she was. Liz was a beautiful woman, always smiling, always generous. She had a big heart and was ready to help anyone. Liz will be missed by all who knew her.
