Gary W. Witkus

Gary W. Witkus, age 68, was born May 20, 1947 in Chicago, the son of the late William and late Lula Atterberry Witkus, who raised Gary in Chicago.  His marriage to Kathleene Bell on September 20, 1969, in Elmwood Park, started a 46 year adventure together.  Gary and Kathleene enjoyed so much of the same things in life together, including nature, campfires and raising a family.

Gary was the loving father of Michael, Jeff  and Briana Witkus; dear brother of the late Sharon Ruffolo-Gonzalez and late Darlene Witkus; and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Gary was a US Army veteran and was stationed in Germany.  After his service in the Army, Gary was a roofer for over 35 years, working most of that time with Raby Roofing.

A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 9:00 am until time of Memorial Mass at 10:00 am at Church of the Holy Ghost, 254 Wood Dale Rd., Wood Dale, IL.
