Geraldine (Casini) Petrecca

Geraldine “Gerrie” Petrecca, 91, peacefully passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family in the tranquility of her own home.  She was born January 12, 1934, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late John and the late Clara (nee Cerri) Casini.

Gerrie was the beloved wife of the late Alphonse Petrecca, who passed away in 2007; loving mother of Teri Petrecca, Joseph (Rosetta) Petrecca, and Michael (the late Gina) Petrecca; cherished grandmother of Nicole, Nicholas, Michael, and Anthony; dear sister of the late Donald Casini and the late Edith (the late Clyde) Madison; and fond sister-in-law of Rosalie (the late Marvin) Levine.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 9 am until 11 am, at Resurrection Catholic Church, 30W350 Army Trail Road, Wayne, Illinois.  Mass of Christian Burial celebrated promptly at 11 am.  Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Hillside.
