Gladys Veldhuizen Obituary

Gladys LaFern Veldhuizen (nee Hurd), 102, of Bensenville, Illinois passed away on January 29th, 2021. She was born in Berryton, Kansas on February 24th, 1918.

Gladys is preceded in death by her husband Harley A. Veldhuizen; her parents George and Freida (nee Fergel) Hurd; and her sister Alberta Marie Breece.

She is survived by her daughter Janice M. Seputis of North Barrington, Illinois; her son Harley W. Veldhuizen of Elburn, Illinois and his family; and her son Terry H. Veldhuizen of Elgin, Illinois and his family.

A memorial service at Elm Lawn Memorial Park (401 E. Lake St., Elmhurst, IL) and a luncheon will be held in the Spring. Please contact Janic Seputis for details.
