James P. "Jay" Napoleon, age 91, was born on September 25, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Peter and late Dora (Polizzi) Napoleon; he married his beloved wife Lena Bousk in 1946 in Chicago. Jay and Lena were married for 65 years before Lena died in 2011. They were blessed with two children: Mark (Vicki) Napoleon and the late Karen Napoleon. Jay was like a second father to Judy (Mike) Gerambia. He was the dear brother of the late Rosalie (late James) Moss and late Dolly (late Frank) DiOrio; Jay was the fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
While serving in the US Army Air Force in WWII, Jay flew 35 combat missions as part of the 8th Air Force, 446th Bomb Group, from Bungay Airfield from June - December 1944.
He was an active volunteer and multiple office holder with the parent organization of Mt. St. Joseph, 24955 N. US Hwy 12, Lake Zurich, IL 60047.
