Jennie E Kovacic

Jennie E. nee: Zorko age 99 passed away peacefully July 21, 2024 She was the beloved wife of the late Frank “Tarz” Loving mother of Beth (Thomas) Manion. Cherished sister of Joan (late Jerry) Steinman and the late Ann (Hank) Bogolin. Dear grandmother of many “Grand animals” A very special aunt to many and a wonderful friend to all.

Jennie was a proud member of the Slovenian Union of America, formerly the Slovenian Women’s Union of America and the Slovenian Culture Center. Through her 99 years of life she was actively involved always volunteering to help. Her welcoming smile and gentle personality always made her company such a pleasure.

Heaven just gained another angel. Our loss is heaven's gain. She will be forever missed and remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Jennie will be lying in state at St. Mary’s Slovenian Catholic Mission Church. 14246 Main St. Lemont, IL 60439 on Tuesday July 30th 2024 from 9AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Entombment: at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, Il. A luncheon reception will follow at the Culture Center.
