Jennifer Ferris, age 58, was born June 21, 1958 in Pittsburgh, PA. She married Jim Ferris in Danbury, CT, in 1981. This started a loving marriage that grew stronger with deeper love each of its 35 years. Jennifer was the devoted mother of Pam (Adam) Gartner and Jim Ferris; loving grandmother of Addison and Adam Gartner; daughter of Norma and the late Charles Gibson; dear sister of Cathy (Kim) Naugle, David (Christie) Gibson, Nancy Frame, and James Gibson; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Jennifer obtained a Masters Degree in Education for use in her work serving children as a Learning Behavior Specialist in Naperville School District 203.
Her interests, talents, and friends were many but more than anything, Jennifer’s idea of a perfect day had to include being around her loving family. Her family time developed a new specialness when her first grandchild was born 14 months ago, then her second grandchild 1 ½ months ago.
Jennifer was deeply rooted in her faith, and led her family and friends closer to it, among her fondest accomplishments.
Memorial Visitation will be held Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 2 p.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 4 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1101 Kimberly Way, (on Rt. 53, between Maple Ave. and Hobson Rd.) Lisle.
