Joan L. Brennan

Joan Lantier Brennan, 84, baptized into the hope of Christ’s resurrection, Friday, February 11, 2022.

Beloved wife of the late William Joseph Brennan.  Loving mother of Terence (Mary), Thomas (Ann), Patricia (Ken) Kimutis, Joan (Mitchell) Danklef, and the late William R. Brennan.  Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Jonathan) Brogan, Margaret (John Duckworth) Brennan, Luke Brennan, Amy Brennan, Courtney (Chris) Stauffer, Claire Kimutis, Scott (Adrienne) Kimutis, Jack Danklef, Sean Danklef, and the late Kellie Brennan.  Great grandmother of Benjamin, Lia, Annie, and Ellie Brogan.  Loving sister of Maureen Dowling, Margaret Staino, Robert Lantier, and the late William Lantier and John Lantier.

Our precious mother was devoted to her husband.  Her actions frequently resembled those of June Cleaver, reapplying lipstick just before his return from work and having dinner on the table promptly at 6:00.  Joan was a very loving mother; her love language was giving.  She would do anything for her children; helping them with whatever they needed, taking them where they wanted to go, showing up for every game, and basically spoiling them rotten.  

Joan was loved by all.  She never had an unkind word to say about anyone, even as a child (although she did master the perfect eyeroll in her later years).  She cherished her relationships with her sisters, who fondly refer to her as “the good one”.  Joan enjoyed the many laughs they shared and the time they spent together. 

We were blessed to have had her in our lives.
