Joanne Elizabeth (Hanson) Crawford

Joanne Elizabeth (nee Hanson) Crawford, 90, of St. Charles, Illinois, went to Heaven to be with her beloved husband Joe Earl Crawford, Sr. on December 27, 2023, which would have been his 92nd birthday.  They were married December 5, 1953, and spent the next 60 years by each other’s side until Joe passed on March 14, 2013.

Joanne was born August 16, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois, to Franklin and Ruth (nee Strabel) Hanson. She is preceded in death by her parents, her only sibling Dorothy G. Hanson, and her fourth child Valarie Ann Reda.

She was the loving and devoted mother of Victoria Lynn Gazda, Joe Earl (Patricia) Crawford Jr., Lori Lee (Brian) Gondek, and Lisa Jo (Robert) Wyslak; beloved grandmother of Rebecca, Steven, Elizabeth (Jamie), Zackary (Cheyney), Andrew (Kara), Cody, Nicholas, Jacqueline, and Samantha; and devoted great grandmother of Blaze and Georgia.

There will be no services for Joanne at this time.  Interment private.
