Joyce Anne (Diamond) Heffern

Joyce Anne Heffern was born July 6th, 1952 in Joliet, Illinois, the daughter of Eugene P. and Ruth C. Diamond.  She went to be with her Lord on August 7th, 2019 at her home in Naperville, Illinois surrounded by her loving family.
  Joyce married Patrick Michael Heffern on August 29th, 1981.  She was happily married to her beloved husband, Pat, and they shared the joys and sorrows of life for 38 years.
  Joyce was the loving mother of Tracy Suzanne (Pat) Quigley, Danielle Christine (Tim) Schaeffer, SFC Ryan Patrick (Karen) Heffern and Matthew Paul (Adrianna Barcellona) Heffern.  
  Her grandchildren brought great joy to her life.  She loved spending time with her cherished grandchildren Emily, Jimmy and Nikki Quigley, Nathanael Schaeffer, Kylie Heffern and Delilah Heffern.
  Joyce was the dear sister of Tom (Janet) Diamond, Mary Diamond and Diane (John) Donish and fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.  Joyce was pre-deceased by her parents.
  Joyce had a radiant smile and always had a hug and a prayer for anyone.  She and Pat enjoyed starting their day with God’s word and coffee outside on their deck, going to national parks and vacationing on cruises.  
    She also enjoyed her work, serving as a receptionist at KidStreet playplace, located at Trinity Green Trails.
  Family and Friends may gather for Visitation at Trinity Lutheran Church Green Trails, 2701 Maple Avenue, Lisle, Illinois on Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 3:00 – 8:00 pm.
  On Monday, August 12, 2019 gathering will begin at 10:00 am at the church with a Funeral Service starting at 11:00 am.   Burial will follow at Naperville Cemetery.
