Joyce Ann Sowizrol, of Hanover Park, passed away Thursday, August 22nd, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Born May 4th, 1952, in Chicago to Robert C. and Dolores R. (nee Wisniewski) Klentz, Joyce was the eldest of four children who grew up in the Belmont-Cragin neighborhood of Chicago. She graduated from Foreman High School in Chicago. On August 8th, 1975, she married her high school sweetheart James D. Sowizrol at St. James Catholic Church. They had two children, James R. Sowizrol and Jessica (Ken) Longo.
Joyce is survived by her husband and children; her sister Janis Zagorski; brother Robert J. Klentz; her six grandchildren Barrett, Brooke, and Addison Sowizrol, and Giselle, Avianna, and Nicolas Longo; and many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Jill Shogren. Joyce loved spending time with her family, Cinderella, Facebook videos, and daisies.
A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, September 4th from 5 pm until time of service at 7 pm, at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg.
