Kathleen Anne "Kathy" (Nichols,) Nolan

Kathleen Anne “Kathy” Nolan nee Nichols, 74, of Rochester, MN passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 9, 2021 surrounded by family and friends. Kathy was born September 10, 1946 in Chicago, IL to the late James and Anna Marie (O’Keefe) Nichols.

Kathy is survived by her sister Mary Robinson of Montgomery, IL, brother James (Diane) Nichols of Woodridge, IL, her sister Patricia (Frank) Raddenbach of Oswego, IL. She cherished her 7 nieces and nephews: Colleen (Eugene) Caballes, Erin (Jose) Cervantes, Brent (Nikki) Nichols, Matthew (Christine) Chiaramonte, Bridget (Jessica) Allan, Beth (John) Vaci, Paul (Melissa) Chiaramonte and loving Great-Aunt of many.

Kathy worked at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for many years and recently retired. Mayo held a very special place in her heart.

Kathy loved learning new things. She was always taking classes to learn different art forms. Kathy loved learning about nature and travelling to new places to learn about history. She took a special interest in assisting family, friends and acquaintances with anything that was important to them. Kathy found great peace with praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet which helped walk her home with God.

The funeral mass was held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Kathleen church Pax Christi Church, Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 2755 West 111th Street Chicago, IL. family and friends meeting at the cemetery chapel at 11:00am and processing to Kathleen’s final resting place for burial. May she rest in peace knowing she may be in heaven but always in our hearts.
