Kathleen E. (Kelly) Yeates

Kathleen “Kathy” Elizabeth Yeates, nee Kelly,  age 67, passed away on March 25, 2019. The Belfast native was a longtime resident of Mokena and the heart of the family. Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was a wonderful woman who always put the needs of others before her own. She was the beloved wife of Brian, loving mother to Bryan (Heather) and Colleen (Patrick) Valenti. Cherished Nana to Liam, Olivia, and Carly. Daughter of the late Robert and Florence Kelly, nee Wilson.  Fond sister of Stephen (Chris) Kelly and Maureen (John) Marosi. Kathy was a loving sister-in-law, aunt, niece, cousin, godmother and friend to many, and loved her “fur babies” (especially her little Chihuahua, Mia, who never left her side).  

Help us celebrate Kathy’s life on Friday, March 29, 2019 from       4:00 pm - 9:00pm at Schmaedeke Funeral Home, located at 10701 S. Harlem Ave, Worth, Il 60482.  A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m.
