Keith Allen Theisen

...WHEN THROUGH ONE MAN A LITTLE MORE LOVE COMES INTO THE WORLD THAT MAN'S LIFE HAS MEANING…                                                   

Keith A. Theisen, from Manhattan, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020, at Advocate Christ Hospital, Oak Lawn, Illinois, age 75, with his granddaughter by his side.  Survived by his son, Jeff, and former wife, Judy; his grandchildren: David Ohlendorf, Jr. and Amber (Brandon) Szromba; also sister-in-law, JoAnn (Ken – deceased) Sak; out-of-town brothers and sisters:  Katie and Terry White, Phyllis Snyder, Kevin Tuskey, Karen Tuskey, and Bruce (Missy) Moeser; and his cat, Demon.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Holly, and his parents; and Holly’s dog, Cerbi.

Keith loved to run and managed several running clubs.  He ran the Chicago Marathon and other marathons downstate.

Keith managed boys’ baseball teams in New Lenox several years ago and was also involved in multiple athletic organizations in the Manhattan School District for 15 years.  Before he got involved in running, he was on a bowling team at Country Lanes in New Lenox.

If Keith wasn’t doing something sports-related, he was reading rather than spending much time watching television, and was overall a very active person.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Jude Church in New Lenox, 241 West Second Avenue, at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 12, 2020.  (Masks required.)
