Koulan Liu of Naperville, Illinois, passed away after a long illness on January 6, 2018 at the age of 66. She was born February 14, 1951. She is survived by her daughter Anna Liu. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sister Kou-Fen Lin, her brothers Kou-Ping, Kou-XX, and Kou-Ju, and her niece Ai-Fen, and her nephews Wilson, Benjamin, and Christopher, and her many friends.
Koulan was the third of five children born in Taiwan. She immigrated to the United States where she obtained a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science.
She loved to play tennis, was an avid movie watcher (her favorite movie was The Godfather), and took great pleasure in being around nature by visiting National Parks all across the country.
She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date, to honor her wishes that a celebration of her life be held outdoors and surrounded by nature.
Koulan's family invites you to visit the "Condolences" and "Photos" tab to leave a message or memory or to upload a photo of Koulan.
