Linda K. Riedy

Linda K. Riedy, age 67, was born April 18, 1950, the first child of the late Patrick R. Riedy, Sr. and the late Patricia, nee Reiff, Riedy; she was the loving big sister of Kathy, Patrick Jr., Mary Pat (Randy) Trost, Michael (Dina), Mark (Lisa), Anne (John) Storino, Riley, Tricia (Nick) Weis and the late Peter; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. 

Linda started her working career as a medical records clerk at Mercy Hospital in Aurora.  She then moved into the insurance business working as an underwriter.  Linda ended her working years as a well-known and much enjoyed figure at the Wheatstack restaurant at River Bend Golf Club in Lisle working as a hostess, waitress and lead trainer. 

Music was a natural talent of Linda’s.  She learned piano at the Chicago Conservatory of Music and often showed her love of singing.  Linda liked to both tell a great joke and laugh at one.  She was a big personality that will be missed by those who knew and loved her. 

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 9:00 am until time of Funeral Mass 10:00 am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 820 Division St. (corner of Kingston Ave. and Front St.), Lisle, IL.  Burial will follow at Ss Peter and Paul Cemetery, Naperville, IL.
