Loretta Maslowski Obituary

Loretta E. Maslowski, 103 years old, passed peacefully into eternal rest February 19, 2018.  She was the beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Maslowski, loving mother of Kenneth (Mary) Maslowski, cherished grandmother of John (Rachel) Cason and Lisa Pappas, dear aunt of many great nieces and nephews.

Loretta was born in Custer Wisconsin, the youngest of 6 children of Frank and Julia Zblewski.  She attended cosmetology school in Madison, WI before marrying Jack in June of 1945 and moving to Atlanta GA.  There she worked in an exclusive ladies store. A few of her most memorable clients and friends were the late singer Eartha Kitt and novelist Margret Mitchel. She enjoyed watching basketball, football and her favorite, baseball.

Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 23, 2018 from 9:45 am until time of Funeral Mass 10:15 am at St. Scholastica Parish, 7800 Janes Ave., Woodridge, IL.  A Graveside Service will follow on Sat., Feb. 24, 2018 at 11:00 am in Guardian Angel Cemetery, corner of Main St. (Hwy 66) and Frontenac Ave., Stevens Point, WI.
