Madeline C. (Cowin) Smith

Madeline C. Smith, 82, of Wheaton, Illinois, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025. She was born December 8, 1942, to Elmer and Irene Cowin.

Madeline is survived by her daughter Tammy (Tim) Beshoar; grandchildren John (Brenda) Steinhauer and Melissa (Tony) Freeland; great-grandchildren Aubrey, Jaxson, Wyatt, Max, and Sofia; her brother Raymond Cowin; and her brother-in-law Vito Buga.

She is preceded in death by her husband John “Jack” Smith; her parents Elmer and Irene Cowin; and her sister Susan Buga.

Visitation Monday, November 24, 2025, from 9:30 am until time of service at 11 am at Peace Lutheran Church, 21W500 Butterfield Road, Lombard. Burial to follow at Wheaton Cemetery.
