Marianne Poorman Level, age 79, was born January 13, 1941 in Robinson, IL, the daughter of John and Marjorie, nee Jackson, Poorman. Marianne grew up on the family farm in Robinson where she learned many life lessons including how to work hard and take care of others. After high school, she turned taking care of others into a profession and entered Baptist Missouri College of Nursing where she graduated as a Registered Nurse. This started a career that was very fulfilling for Marianne, spending much of her time in pediatric nursing. She loved children. And then it was time for a family of her own. Marianne's children brought her much joy and she was a great mother, teaching her children to be independent and confident and giving them a foundation for sucessful lives.
Marianne died on the evening of March 13, 2020 in Racine, Wisconsin surrounded by her beloved children, Bryce Level of Long Neck, Deleware, Jennifer (Antonio) Andreon of West Palm Beach, Florida and Rick (Lynn) Level of Lake Zurich, Illinois.
She was also the loving grandmother of Lucas Andreon; dear sister of Ed Poorman, John D. (Chris-Ann) Poorman, and Donna Jean Bedard (late Alfred); dear aunt of Beth (Tom) O'Keefe; and great aunt of Bridget and Evan O'Keefe
Marianne's children will fulfill their mother's wishes and private family burial service. Her family invites you to visit the "Condolences" and "Photos" sections of this memorial to leave a message or memory or to upload a photograph.
