Michael J. Schmitz

Michael J. Schmitz, 71, of Bolingbrook, Illinois, passed away Monday, December 27, 2021.  He was born March 23, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois, to Frances “Frank” and Ann (nee Wolanin) Schmitz.

Michael is survived by his wife Deborah (nee Iwaniec) Schmitz; children Matt Anderson, Tom Anderson, Katie Schmitz, and Kerry (Tibor) Vanek; grandchildren Michael and Emily Vanek; brother Ronald (Joy) Schmitz; nephew Ronnie (Tracy) Schmitz; and great-nieces Savanah, Lindsay, and Samantha Schmitz.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation Wednesday, January 5, 2022, from 11 am until 2 pm, at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 516 S. Washington Street, Naperville, Illinois 60540.  Interment private.
