Nancy Ellen (Cooper) Teske

Nancy Ellen Teske, nee Cooper, age 69, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a long battle with cancer.  She was the beloved wife for 40 years of Donald; devoted mother of Susan (March) Machnik, Cindi (Greg) Teske-Schoeck, Kim (John) McGinness and Julie (Sean) Sprouse; cherished nana of Crystalyn, Kailey, Jessi, Johnny, Alex, Allison and Carter and great nana of Cassady; fond sister of Linda (Roger) Rader and Bob (Patti) Cooper; fond aunt of many.

  Nancy was a big part of the Trinity Lutheran Church ministry.  She rang bells, sang in the choir, counted offerings, made cards and was a leader in small group ministry.  She was a good friend and support to so many members of the Trinity family and will be dearly missed.

  Nancy was very artistic.  She played piano, enjoyed scrapbooking, painted, was a member of a book club, enjoyed spending time at the Morton Arboretum and was awarded a Botanical Art and Illustration Certificate from there.

  Nancy and Don traveled all over the world.  Their travels took them many times through Europe, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean and cruises.  She was a strong and resilient lover of life and wanted to experience it fully.

  Family and friends are invited to celebrate Nancy’s life and take comfort in the hope that we have in Jesus Christ.  Visitation will be held Friday, October 20, 2017 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1101 Kimberly Way, Lisle, Illinois.  Visitation will continue Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 9:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 10:00 am at the church.
