Obituary

Norman P Humes, age 84, passed away Tuesday, February 8th, 2022 peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

Now he is together again with his beloved wife, Lois, who he missed terribly, it has been a long 13 years apart.

Their love created a beautiful family.  Norman was the father of Paul (Anne), Scott (Jean) and Brian (Renee) Humes.  He was the proud grandfather of Ryan, Miranda, and Halle Humes.  Treasured brother of Thelma (Robert) Mc Namer and the late Opal (Austin) Taylor, uncle and cousin to many and a friend to all.

He is now free from the pain of this earth and with our Lord Jesus Christ, but will forever live in the hearts of all those who loved him and had the pleasure of knowing this kind hearted man and calling him friend.

The family will welcome guests on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 10am until the funeral service at 12- Noon at Wesleyan Missionary Church, 5656 West 64th Street, Chicago, IL.  Burial will immediately follow at Fairmount Willow Hills Cemetery in Willow Springs, IL.
