Olga M. (Krampac) Skafar

Heaven gained another angel, Olga passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of family and her devoted caregiver and friend Diane who treated Olga as a second mother.

Olga was born in Slovenia and proud of her Slovenian heritage. She shared 38 years of marriage with her beloved husband Steve and together they blessed the world with three sons Steve, John and Matt. She was a loving wife, and a nurturing mother… Nothing slowed her down she was always busy doing something, She was a faithful member of St. Daniel the Prophet Catholic Church along with being  active and involved with her loving Slovenian Community in Lemont where she loved to share the best of times with family and friends.

She will be remembered by those who knew her best as one of the strongest, funniest people with her welcoming smile, twinkling eyes and gentle heart.

She was preceded in death by her late husband Steve. She was a loving mother of Matt (Cathy), the late Steve (Karen) and the late John. Cherished grandmother of Stephen Skafar, Ryan and Peter Joyce. Treasured sister of Kasmir (Theresa) Krampac, Ferdinard Krampac, Maria Mehle, and Katarina Lambropoulos .                  A wonderful aunt to many and a friend to all.

She will definitely be missed, but all the happy memories will live on in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing her We will miss her deeply but know that her love will guide us always.
