Patricia (Nelson) Knoblauch

Patricia A. Knoblauch nee: Nelson age 92, of Hometown, Illinois, passed away peacefully surrounded by love on October 19, 2024.

Devoted daughter of the late Allen and Mary Nelson. Beloved wife of the late Fred Knoblauch, Hometown Chief of Police. Loving mother of Lynda (Ed) Janczur. Proud grandmother of Daniel Janczur. Friend to all.

Pat spent many years as an avid tennis player in her down time. She worked as a court clerk for the Bridgeview Courthouse for many years, and after moved on to working with the children who resided at the Misericordia Home. Pat’s final employment until she retired was teaching preschool for the Hometown Kiddy Kapers. A preschool program that was developed through the Village of Hometown. She devoted over 40 years dedicating her time and love working with the children, as well as the love of her family.

A visitation will be held Wednesday 4pm-8pm October 23, 2024 at Palos Gaidas Funeral Home 11028 SW Highway, Palos Hills, IL. 60465

Funeral Service: Thursday at 10:30 am procession immediately following to Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery 6001 W. 111th St. Alsip, IL.60803

Luncheon to follow at Zachary’s Grill 13415 S. Ridgeland Ave. Palos Heights, IL.60463

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the  Alzheimer's Association or The American Heart Association see information attached.
