Renetta "Rennie" (Lehman) Orne

Renetta “Rennie” Orne, age 88, was the only child of the late Fred and late Irene, nee Schultz, Lehman who raised Rennie in the Roseland neighborhood of Chicago.  She married Donald Orne on July 17, 1947 in Chicago.  Rennie and Don were lovingly married for 62 years until his death in 2009. 

  Renetta was the devoted mother of Lorelei (Thomas) Melnick and Denise (William) Griffin; cherished grandmother of Tamara Melnick (Thomas Hiland), Stephanie Melnick, Kelley (Nick) Dalo, Erin (Anthony) DelPercio and Meghan Griffin and great-grandmother of Kathy Hiland, Danny & Jacob Dalo, Olivia and Anthony DelPercio.

  Family and friends may gather for a Memorial Visitation Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017 from 10am – 11am in the Healthcare Center’s Chapel at Oak Trace, 200 Village Dr., Downers Grove.  A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 am. 

  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made, in memory of Baby Carina, to March of Dimes, 1275 Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains, NY 10605 or at MarchofDimes.org.
