Ruth Nowak (Ames) Vicencio

Ruth Jean Nowak Vicencio, nee Ames, age 75, was born February 21, 1944 in Chicago, IL, the second child of Herbert and Georgia Ames.  She passed away on March 25, 2019 in Elmhurst, IL.  Ruth was the beloved wife for 34 years of Al Vicencio. She was the loving mother of Caryn Kennedy (John Palmer), John Guy Nowak, Connie Novak, Jori (Dave) Lindstrom; cherished nana of Calvin, Victor, Kristy, Megan, Nik, Jenna, Guy, Georgia, Sofia, Connor, Jaden and  Mia; dear sister of Dixie (late Jim) Halleran; fond aunt of many.  Ruth will be remembered with love for her kindness, generosity, strength, and humor.

Memorial Visitation will be held Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 1:00 pm until time of Memorial Service at 4:00 pm at Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 330 W. Golf Rd., Schaumburg, IL.
