Sandra Robershaw Obituary

Sandra Jean Morris Robershaw of Villa Park, Ill., 73, passed away at her home on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022 surrounded by those she loved and those who loved her, following a 2-year battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on Aug. 12, 1949 in Elmhurst, Ill., She was the oldest daughter of Dorothy “Jean” Pedersen and William J. Hruska.

On Feb. 14, 1985 she married Aubrey Gerald Robershaw, who preceded her in death in 1989., and was the loving partner of Stuart Letwat , until his death in 2013.

She attended school at Franklin Elementary, Jefferson Junior High School and Willowbrook High School in Villa Park. She worked as an operator for AT&T, and later as a shipment management coordinator for YRC logistics, and most recently as receptionist at Triple A Door Inc., in Villa Park. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Sandy was also involved in the Masonic Order of True Kindred and served as the Worthy Grand Commander for Illinois/Wisconsin in 1987 and 2003 and Worthy Supreme Commander in 2005.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, and Donald Fuller; Grandparents, Helen and Hans Pedersen all of Villa Park, Ill., and grandmother, Gail Fuller.

Survived by her sisters, Patricia Morris Sharp, (Killeen, TX.) Elizabeth Hruska (Villa Park) and Deborah Hruska (West Jordan, UT.) 8 nieces and nephews, and the great-grandson of her late husband, with whom she had a very close relationship with.

The family would like to thank Residential Hospice, who took kind in-home care of Sandy during the latter months of her life. 

A Memorial Service celebration of Life will be held in April, under the direction of Pastor Zachary Wagner, at St. Paul Lutheran Church.  

In Lieu of Flowers, a GoFundMe page named "In memory of Sandy Robershaw" has been set up to help pay for final expenses.
