Stephanie A. Poole-Fellendorf

Stephanie Ann Poole-Fellendorf, 68, of Naperville, Illinois, passed away surrounded by family, Saturday, February 1, 2025. She was born December 4, 1956, in Monroe, Louisiana, to Glover and Nina (nee Cupples) Poole.

Stephanie was a devoted wife and mother. She adored her two sons and daughter-in-law and cherished every moment with her granddaughters. They were the lights of her life, and she took great pride in their every achievement.  She and her husband, Paul, opened their home and hearts to many, often welcoming them as family while offering love and support. She was always there to offer a helping hand or a shoulder to cry on and became “Mom” to many. Stephanie embraced everyone she met with the kindness and generosity of true Southern hospitality. Her love of life and great sense of humor brought much joy to all who knew her. 

Stephanie was a gifted artist and crafter who brought beauty into the world through her drawings, paintings, portraits, fiber art, and countless creative projects. She filled her home and other lives with beauty and imagination, inspiring a love of art in so many. Her legacy lives on in the beauty she created and the passion for art she instilled in others. Her light will continue to shine through in every piece of artwork and all the little things that remind her family and friends of her.

Her strength, love, and unwavering spirit will forever be cherished by her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by everyone who had the joy of knowing her.  A wonderful woman, so gracious and welcoming, so talented and loving.

Stephanie is survived by her husband Paul Fellendorf; sons Dylan (Alejandra) Phillips and Ian Phillips; granddaughters Sofia and Lily; sister Elizabeth Dumas; nephews Michael Dumas and Matthew (Angela) Dumas; and great nephew Logan Dumas. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial visitation Thursday, February 27, from 9:30 am until time of memorial service at 10:30 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1101 Kimberly Way, Lisle, Illinois.  The family requests a donation to Trinity Lutheran Church in Lisle or Fetching Tails Foundation instead of flowers.
