Terry (Yarmesky) Pavel

Terry Pavel, nee Yarmesky, age 86, was born September 6, 1931 in Westfield, Massachusetts, the daughter of Thomas and Nelly, nee Chickowski, Yarmesky, who preceded her in death.  Terry passed away at home in Warrenville, Illinois on March 31, 2018.  Terry was the beloved wife of the late Erich Pavel, Jr.; loving mother of Erich Pavel, III and Sue (Rich) Knoebel; cherished grandmother of Randy (Anna) Knoebel, Kristin Knoebel, Russ Knoebel, Ray Knoebel, Rachel (John) Howard and Erich Pavel, IV; great grandmother of Maddie Howard; dear sister of Joan Holmes, the late Nancy (late Pat) Wojeck, and the late David (Peg) Yarmesky; fond aunt of many. 

Terry went to school to study nursing.  She earned her LPN and worked in the field for many years.  Very important to Terry was the time she donated to special needs camps through the Knights of Columbus.  She was very active and enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s activities, ball games and concerts.  Terry was a past president of the American Legion Auxillary.  During her time living in Florida, she was a regular at the bridge club. 

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at St. Irene Catholic Church, 28W441 Warrenville Road, Warrenville, IL where Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 10:00 am.  Terry will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Erich, in Assumption Cemetery, Wheaton, IL.
