Bradley M. Burroughs
Owner, Funeral Director/Embalmer
Bradley was born and raised in DuPage County and graduated from Glenbard North High School in 2010. He went on to receive his Associates Degree in Mortuary Science from Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Wheeling, Illinois.
Bradley and his wife Megan were married in October of 2017 and make their home in West Chicago, Illinois. They welcomed their daughter Natalie in October of 2020 and their son Warren in March of 2023. Bradley enjoys serving others, traveling, being outside, and spending time with his loved ones.
Bradley has been serving families in the funeral industry since November of 2013 and enjoys the opportunity to make an impact on the lives he works with every day. He is passionate about being a part of an industry that is changing and advancing in so many ways. Bradley believes that New Tradition Funeral Services can provide families with a wide range of service options, allowing all of their needs to be met.

Faith Mathes
Funeral Director/Embalmer Apprentice
Faith Mathes was born and raised in Tremont, IL with her parents and two brothers. She moved to Cook County in 2022 and is a March 2023 graduate of Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Wheeling, IL.
Currently, Faith resides in Brookfield, IL. When she has free time she loves to travel and spend time with family. Faith also enjoys reading, writing, anything to do with organization and spending time with her two cats, Mimi and Hunter.
Faith's hard work and positive attitude have proved to be an asset to New Tradition. We are honored to have her apart of our team as we train the future leaders of this industry.

Joseph Hernandez
Funeral Director/Embalmer Apprentice
Joe was born in Arlington, Texas and grew up in Chicago's southwest neighborhoods. He graduated from Kennedy High School in 2015. He received his Associates Degree in Mortuary Science from Worsham College in 2023.
Currently, Joe resides in Brookfield. When not on call or working, he likes to spend time outdoors; fishing, hiking, and grilling.
Becoming an EMT at the age of 19, Joe spent seven years dedicating himself to serving others in need with compassion, empathy, & respect.
Now, he wishes to transfer those attributes to the grieving families in need of guidance & support in their greatest time of turmoil. Joe values the needs of the families he serves above all else and is set on making others feel like they have someone to turn to when life becomes too stressful.
New Tradition is proud to have Joe apart of our team as we teach the future leaders of this industry. Joe's dedication and work ethic have proved to be an asset to our funeral service company.

Debbie Zefran - Jerry
Funeral Director/Embalmer Associate
Debbie Zefran-Jerry has joined New Tradition Funeral Services as an Independent Funeral Director. After a long career with a corporate funeral provider, Debbie wanted the ability to provide a more personal level of care for the families she serves.

Matt Bauman
Funeral Director/Embalmer Associate
Matt grew up in the suburban Detroit town of Royal Oak, graduating from Dondero High School, later attending Worsham College of Mortuary Science graduating in 1999. Matt has gained experience working in large funeral homes in Michigan, Missouri and Illinois.
Matt met his wife Carri while living in St. Louis. They moved to Montgomery in 2004 and have 2 children, Ali and Lia. They established the Bauman Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. in 2021.
Matt enjoys being active in the community. He served 8 years on the the Oswego SD308 Board of Education, is serving his second term as a trustee on the Village of Montgomery Board, is a member of the Oswego Kiwanis Club, Oswego Chamber of Commerce, Montgomery Chamber of Commerce, Oswegoland Senior and Community Center Advisory Council, and a charter member of the Oswego Sons of the American Legion Squadron 675
