My mother passed at the beginning of this Covid-19 pandemic. New Traditions Funerals and Cremations was incredibly professional, supportive, helpful, and kind. Chuck was so warm and personable, sitting at the table looking at old photos of our family, laughing with us and supporting us when we were in tears.  By the time he left, we felt like he was another member of the family. When we recently lost our Dad, my Mom decided she wanted to wake him at their lifelong Church vs. using a funeral home. Our neighbor referred us to New Tradition to assist with the wake/funeral arrangements that the Church could not accommodate.

The talent, professionalism and above all compassion shown to our family by the New Tradition staff was so deeply appreciated. Bradley personally checked on my Mother, my siblings and my self throughout both days of arrangements leaving us to grieve together and not worry about the details. I cannot recommend them enough nor thank them enough for their caring service. From assisting guests with the iPad/electronic guest books to simply offering to grab a bottle of water or a box of tissues for any of us... we truly appreciated it. They made our loss so much easier to navigate and we cannot thank them enough for that.

Lastly, they made our Dad look like our Dad in his healthier years—that was so wonderful to see, words cannot express.

     I want to take a moment to acknowledge Bradley Michael Burroughs, Funeral Director for New Tradition - from our first conversation on the phone, I knew I wanted him to be the one to take care of my father's funeral service. Bradley and I met in person prior to my father's passing - he came to my home and walked me through the pain staking process of picking out all the things I would need for my father's final good-bye. He was extremely professional and caring. He explained everything in detail and didn't try to "sell me" something I didn't want. He took the time to listen to me and asked questions to get to know my dad.
    When it was time for my father to be "picked up" from the nursing home, Bradley was there at the exact time I had requested. As he took my father out of the facility, there was a beautiful red rose laying on top of him - a vision I will never forget and one that brought me peace. There was no doubt in my mind that dad would be treated and cared for with love. The next time I saw my father was at the service - he looked so peaceful and looked exactly as I had hoped.
Bradley went above and beyond my expectations - he promptly answered every phone call, every text message, and every request and concern.
    On the day of the service he was front and center - making sure every little detail was perfect - he stayed with us through the luncheon - I tried to get him to eat with us but he didn't want to intrude - even though I assured him that as an Italian family, there is no such thing as intruding - everyone is welcome at our tables! But still he graciously declined and instead stood back and made sure all the details went as planned.

I want to take a moment to acknowledge Bradley Michael Burroughs, Funeral Director for New Tradition - from our first conversation on the phone, I knew I wanted him to be the one to take care of my father's funeral service. Bradley and I met in person prior to my father's passing - he came to my home and walked me through the pain staking process of picking out all the things I would need for my father's final good-bye. He was extremely professional and caring. He explained everything in detail and didn't try to "sell me" something I didn't want. He took the time to listen to me and asked questions to get to know my dad.
When it was time for my father to be "picked up" from the nursing home, Bradley was there at the exact time I had requested. As he took my father out of the facility, there was a beautiful red rose laying on top of him - a vision I will never forget and one that brought me peace. There was no doubt in my mind that dad would be treated and cared for with love. The next time I saw my father was at the service - he looked so peaceful and looked exactly as I had hoped.
Bradley went above and beyond my expectations - he promptly answered every phone call, every text message, and every request and concern.
On the day of the service he was front and center - making sure every little detail was perfect - he stayed with us through the luncheon - I tried to get him to eat with us but he didn't want to intrude - even though I assured him that as an Italian family, there is no such thing as intruding - everyone is welcome at our tables! But still he graciously declined and instead stood back and made sure all the details went as planned.
Bradley, from the bottom of our hearts and on behalf of the entire Signa Family - we thank you and New Tradition Funerals for treating our father with the utmost respect, love, and dignity he so deserved. God bless you.

The talent, professionalism and above all compassion shown to our family by the New Tradition staff was so deeply appreciated. Bradley personally checked on my Mother, my siblings and my self throughout both days of arrangements leaving us to grieve together and not worry about the details. I cannot recommend them enough nor thank them enough for their caring service. From assisting guests with the iPad/electronic guest books to simply offering to grab a bottle of water or a box of tissues for any of us... we truly appreciated it. They made our loss so much easier to navigate and we cannot thank them enough for that.
Lastly, they made our Dad look like our Dad in his healthier years—that was so wonderful to see, words cannot express.

My mother passed at the beginning of this Covid-19 pandemic. New Traditions Funerals and Cremations was incredibly professional, supportive, helpful, and kind. We were impressed with the personal attention given to the visitation process.  We had guests from Indiana, Michigan, Nebraska and Illinois who were also favorably impressed.  We are especially appreciative for the fine quality of embalming that reflected Mary's beauty and serenity during her lifetime.
  The army unit...made a fitting, timely close to the service with the Bugler playing Taps followed with presentation of the flag honoring Mary's service in the Army Nurse's Corp in WWII.  You can use our comments as a referral.

I want to take a moment to acknowledge Bradley Michael Burroughs, Funeral Director for New Tradition - from our first conversation on the phone, I knew I wanted him to be the one to take care of my father's funeral service. Bradley and I met in person prior to my father's passing - he came to my home and walked me through the pain staking process of picking out all the things I would need for my father's final good-bye. He was extremely professional and caring. He explained everything in detail and didn't try to "sell me" something I didn't want. He took the time to listen to me and asked questions to get to know my dad.
When it was time for my father to be "picked up" from the nursing home, Bradley was there at the exact time I had requested. As he took my father out of the facility, there was a beautiful red rose laying on top of him - a vision I will never forget and one that brought me peace. There was no doubt in my mind that dad would be treated and cared for with love. The next time I saw my father was at the service - he looked so peaceful and looked exactly as I had hoped.
Bradley went above and beyond my expectations - he promptly answered every phone call, every text message, and every request and concern.
On the day of the service he was front and center - making sure every little detail was perfect - he stayed with us through the luncheon - I tried to get him to eat with us but he didn't want to intrude - even though I assured him that as an Italian family, there is no such thing as intruding - everyone is welcome at our tables! But still he graciously declined and instead stood back and made sure all the details went as planned.
Bradley, from the bottom of our hearts and on behalf of the entire Signa Family - we thank you and New Tradition Funerals for treating our father with the utmost respect, love, and dignity he so deserved. God bless you.

When we recently lost our Dad, my Mom decided she wanted to wake him at their lifelong Church vs. using a funeral home. Our neighbor referred us to New Tradition to assist with the wake/funeral arrangements that the Church could not accommodate.
The talent, professionalism and above all compassion shown to our family by the New Tradition staff was so deeply appreciated. Bradley personally checked on my Mother, my siblings and my self throughout both days of arrangements leaving us to grieve together and not worry about the details. I cannot recommend them enough nor thank them enough for their caring service. From assisting guests with the iPad/electronic guest books to simply offering to grab a bottle of water or a box of tissues for any of us... we truly appreciated it. They made our loss so much easier to navigate and we cannot thank them enough for that.
Lastly, they made our Dad look like our Dad in his healthier years—that was so wonderful to see, words cannot express.

New Tradition Funerals and Cremations did the funeral arrangements for my mom and they were great every step of the way. They took great care of my mom and honored every request we made. They coordinated with the cemetery and church so my family had less to worry about.
Bradley, Megan and Chuck were so kind and respectful to everyone. This was a difficult time for our family but we felt at ease working with New Tradition Funerals and Cremations.
